In the game, you try to get your hand out as quickly as possible, with the goal of playing cards in every turn, but not winning every turn. If you play the worst hand in the round, you’ll be a fool to be laughed at! Being able to sit on the cold bench and not being able to participate in the next round is equivalent to losing a chance to play cards.
