Description

It’s 1821 AD, and the Spaniards have been in control of the Philippine islands for 250 years. However, until now, the Spaniards did not actually control everything. Behind the power of the colonies, some opinionated natives had established secret maritime trade routes with neighboring islands and the Asian continent. Using peculiar-looking flat-bottomed boats and flimsy bamboo rafts, these black-marketeers filled their boats with nutmeg, silk, jade, and ginseng and smuggled them into Manila. The odds of every speculation were not clear, and the seaworthiness of the captain and the ship at sea was rather poor. Pirates are waiting to plunder ships that cannot escape from them, adding to their misfortunes.
